The Senate confirmed lawyer and politician Sean Duffy to serve as Secretary of Transportation in a 77-22 vote on Tuesday. Duffy served as representative for Wisconsin’s 7th congressional district from 2011-2019. He will oversee the Department of Transportation’s 13 agencies, including the Federal Aviation Administration, Federal Highway Administration, Federal Railroad Administration, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, and others.
